A top jumps jockey, who cannot be named as he has not been charged, has been arrested over an alleged rape. The rider has been suspended by the British Horseracing Authority and is barred from attending licensed premises while police carry out their investigation. Despite receiving support from the Professional Jockeys' Association, the jockey has not been seen on a racecourse since his arrest.

Trainer Speaks Out

A leading trainer revealed that the jockey was arrested shortly after his final ride for him. However, the police could not confirm or deny the jockey's arrest. The British Horseracing Authority spokesperson stated that they do not comment on investigations or speculation surrounding possible investigations, while the Professional Jockeys' Association did not respond to requests for comment.
